FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions.

Is BCrypto a cryptocurrency company?
No. BCrypto is a hardware cybersecurity company specializing in post-quantum cryptographic devices. We design and manufacture secure communication hardware with European sovereignty. We have no involvement in cryptocurrency, blockchain, or digital currencies.
What is ML-KEM-1024?
ML-KEM-1024 is the NIST FIPS 203 standard for post-quantum key encapsulation. It is a lattice-based cryptographic algorithm designed to resist attacks from both classical and quantum computers. BCrypto implements ML-KEM-1024 directly in hardware for maximum security.
What is DMA Air-Gap?
DMA Air-Gap is our patent-pending technology that creates a physical (galvanic) isolation boundary between the audio signal path and the host device processor. This means no data can leak through Direct Memory Access — the audio is encrypted before it ever reaches the host device.
Is Q-Audion available for purchase?
Q-Audion GEN-1 is currently in its launch and market validation phase (2026-27). We are accepting inquiries from institutional partners, government agencies, and enterprise customers. Contact us to discuss availability and deployment timelines.
What platforms does Q-Audion support?
Q-Audion is BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) compatible, working with both iOS and Android smartphones. It does not replace your existing device — it adds a hardware security layer to any commercial smartphone.
Where is BCrypto based?
Our headquarters and R&D hub are located in Turin, Italy. We operate within the European deep-tech innovation ecosystem with access to research networks, laboratories, and institutional investors.
Do you offer enterprise licensing?
Yes. Through our Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS) model, we offer continuous protection with lifetime firmware updates, fleet management dashboards, and sovereign cloud hosting in European data centers.
How does the anti-deepfake detection work?
Our TinyML engine runs locally on a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) inside the Q-Audion device. It performs real-time biometric voice verification to detect AI-generated voice clones, ensuring the person you are speaking with is authentic.
